Easter time is sublime

So I was told I need to post more (which made me happy that people actually read this) so that's what I'm going to do.

Here's the last of Danbury Manor-sianara, ate logo, tchau.

So going home on Easter Sunday was the best thing ever-so enjoyable. Actual good cooking, yummy pink chicken, scalloped p's, deviled eggs,  g-pa's fantastic lemonade.

Oh Easter Egg finding joys
the spoils
Here's Mr. Matthew Man with his egg
Here's his mom, saving his egg from his cousins

Egg Bash Time!!
I had my team egg going this year-it was nice the nieces and nephews gathered around checking out my art work as I made it.

Knocked out in the semi-finals :(
The cupcake baked by satan took the egg crown this year-she's the one that took me out
Trevor's egg you can't see
These little chitlen's parents had an announcement for everyone

So I needed to do something fun and exciting while I was home, and the Coyotes made it to the playoffs. Now you all know I'm a baseball girl, I've only been to one Yotes game, maybe 10 years ago, so I just had to experience the playoff atmosphere plus my boys were out of town. Which was awesome, but definitely a different beast than baseball, and oh such a sad sad lose. 5 seconds left the other team scores and then they lost in overtime-depressing, but the Coyotes got the best of them and beat them in the end.

You see where my loyalties always lie-the colors are the same though.

I think I successfully gained 10 pounds because I basically hit up my whole food bucket list-Ned's, good Mexican Food, Cafe Rio, Chen's, Paradise Bakery, Barros.-yummy! It was so wonderful to go home, maybe a little to wonderful I didn't want to come back to Idaho.  No it's good, a whole new semester a whole new adventure.

Moving on up...

So I lived in what I affectionately called 'the cave' it was basically a hole-okay I'm not being fair it was a step above that, and actually, I loved it for that homey feel-I'm not a big fan of apartments but this new one is nice. So here I am about to show you my upgrade from squalor to the ritz and oh it's ritzy.

This was taken during finals week, so don't judge me to harshly.

Blessed free laundry
Stinky coin operated machines

There's also only four of us living here, compared to six (and a chata cousin : p ) So I get my own sink and only have to share a bathroom with one other person. Also all my roommates seem to be pretty stinking sweet in both meanings.

I Have Arrived

Well it only took me about 5 years, but I am back in school a place where I am grateful to be back to because I love it, if it were sound I would be a professional student, because I'm lame like that. Anywho for those of you that are curious about the sights (not sounds, sorry) of byu-i then you've come to the right blog post. Okay so it's nothing that spectacular, but here it is.

I instantly fell in love with this statue, therefore you get two pictures

John Taylor building, it's pretty

You can't really tell, but this is a hill and I live at the very bottom where the smoke is coming up
That's the Ricks building my 7:45 class is there, so of course the class furthest from my house and the earliest class is that one, I get my work out in the mornings :D

Love me some temples!

That's just some of the cool little things they have on campus

This is the Spori building where I have my art class and Church
The street I live on
My house!

Well this is actually more like it

I live in a cave.

So I have been having an enjoyable time, it's been great getting to know this place and new people, I very much love it here, and again am grateful to be here.
